I used these cleats during my senior year of high school they work well in grass and in sloppy conditions but these cleats are not made for turf, they dont grip turf well believe it or not they wil not dig into in turf thus makeing studs ineffective i would reccomend cleats that have a rubber on the bottom which will provide exceptional grip on turf. The soles are pieces of crap they are thin and do not absorb shock well since these cleats are marketed to be sold to lineman and linebackers i would expect padding to deal with a o or d linemans weight i just threw the orignal soles out and put my nike air soles which provided me with great comfort and provided the same performance as the orginal sole just more comfortable.As far as protection for your toes go there is none my old nike cleats hade padding for your toes but these have nothing besides getting my toes steped on made me feel alert. These cleats are great for stepping on idiots who like to cut theres nothing like the feeling of getting 270 lbs of cleat on your thigh, back or the best part the hand. Finally i would get rid of the crapy plastic studs and pick up some real metal studs, worn out studs can make the difference bewteen failure and success.
Would not reccomend this cleats to someone who has bad knees do to the studs
